No Covers - Free Mobile Bookshop

09 Color Variation

Little Bus Books serves as a non-profit initiative (not official 501C) by partnering with several non-profit organizations across the community to provide free books and print entertainment materials to individuals and families who have inadequate access to libraries and/or bookstores. We do this by setting up table top bookshops, collaborating with renovating and refilling facility libraries, managing an organization’s book registry through our online shop or facilitating school field trips. Community residents are also encouraged to drop by the storefront with a Little Free Library charter number or street name to receive free books to replenish their neighborhood boxes and help spread the literary love!

If you’re part of a Polk County non-profit organization or know of one in which Little Bus Books could add value to its programs through sharing literacy, please contact Michael at michael@littlebusbooks.com.

when you help our bookstore, you help your community

The Little Bus Books storefront also serves as the headquarters for No Covers – Free Mobile Bookshop, in which donors can drop off books or print entertainment during store hours, to any mobile event, or by appointment. We are able to provide pick-up service for larger book donations and individuals who have transportation or mobility needs that prevent delivery.

Please Note: Little Bus Books is unable to accept monetary donations at this time.

Little Bus Books accepts book donations and will repurpose books of all genres at children through adult reading levels. In order to be able to provide a quality Free Mobile Bookshop experience, it is requested that books are still in relatively good condition and would be of interest to a broad demographic or audience.
